AirAmbulance.org › How it works

How it works, and how we're paid

What happens after you send a quote request, what it costs you (nothing), and how AirAmbulance.org is paid. Plain answers, no small print.

1. You send the route

Tell us where the patient is, where they need to go, roughly when, and their general condition. No diagnoses or medical records: we don't need them to start.

2. We read it and reply

A person reads every request and replies by email, or by phone if you gave a number and it's urgent. If something is unclear we ask before anything else happens.

3. We work out what fits

Not every patient needs a private jet. Stable patients who can sit up may fly with a medical escort on a regular airline for a fraction of the cost. We say so when that's the case.

4. You get options and decide

With your consent we share the route and transport needs with suitable air ambulance or medical escort providers so they can quote. You compare what's included and decide. There's no obligation and no fee to you.

How we're paid

Using AirAmbulance.org and requesting quotes is free. If a family books with a provider we introduced, that provider may pay us a referral fee. It is never added to your quote, and no provider can pay to change what our guides say.

What we never do

We never sell your details, never ask for medical records, and never pretend to be an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
